"The ring shall tell
I love thee well"

Heart motifs always have and still continue to inspire such incredible designs in jewellery. There is nothing more romantic than this tremendously sentimental Entwined Hearts Victorian ring. It is estimated to date back to the Victorian era, c.1880-1900's approximately.

Crafted in 18ct yellow gold with engraved details on the band, the whole top piece is silver set; with a ruby at the centre of one heart, and sapphire at the centre of the other, completely encased in a frame of old cut diamonds. A diamond encrusted ribbon is tied into a bow, binding the two hearts together - symbolising a continuous everlasting love that cannot be broken.

The diamonds serve to represent Endurance, the ruby represents Passion, and the sapphire represents Fidelity. These kinds of 'double heart' designs historically had its origin 100 years earlier, but it became one of the most popular designs at the turn of the century and it was often given as a gift of betrothal.

If you are hopeless romantic, you need to add this ring to your collection.
This is the kind of ring that tells such a beautiful story without any words at all. Everything about it encompasses the adage of 'Two Hearts Together As One'

As it is, it's a finger size P - however it could be resized a few sizes larger or smaller to ensure a perfect fit. Please message us for further information and help regarding our sizing service.
